Just been told i should buy the fastrax alloy front hubs for the mr4 just wondered if there any difference between the mr4 steering hubs and the sd ones PLEASE HELP

The idea is to put these mr4 hubs on my sd if it'll all work !!

Standard SD hubs have a 1mm trail, that is to say, the centreline of the axle trails behind the centreline of the steering kingpins by 1mm.
The optional hubs (and the Fastrax ally hubs) have zero trail.

Really not concerned about the off-set/trail

ALL i want to know is will they fit ?? as asked

If what your saying DOOM is that the ZM-415S + SD-415s hubs are the same (zero trail as i already us the sd option ZERO TRAIL 415s HUBS)then thats great and all i asked for (but are they same phisical size!?!?!?!?!?!)

ALL i want is alloy hubs that fit my SD, the set-up implications i'll deal with, but i need hubs that don't fall apart !!

And it's not that i crash them hard, if i do i accept it.But these things are usless when racing indoors :-[

From what I have been told the SD-415SG hubs do not fall apart like the standard ones do.

I am working on solving the problem properly though rather than using Alloy hubs which will just bend.

More info on solution when I finalize it :)

Merciless, please try and assess the tone of your posts a little better,

The first line of your post was
just wondered if there any difference between the mr4 steering hubs and the sd ones PLEASE HELP
and that is what Doom did. He helped by telling you one of the differences between the two items you mentioned.
If all you wanted was a simple "will they fit" then when starting the thread you should have asked that question alone!
Thanks

Use a big bumper, that usually solves it. I never really break. When people break the Yokomo at my track, we call it "brokomo".

Yes they fit, they will work better if you use the old style C hubs as well,
the whowl set up can simpley replace the standard SD ones. When i tried it i didnt need to make any modifications to the parts at all.
Hope this helps.
