So sorry to hear you were so poorly mandy

Current situation with regards to the comittee

Chairman/Pro
Neil McRae

Treasurer/Secretary
Richard Broom

Track Liason Officers
Dan Folds
Glyn Morgan

the same format for tracks will apply next year with applications for an event being put out for tender and the relevent information and aplications will be released in due course

the comittee will then take the tenders and look at them on its merrits and ensure that each club meets the basic requirments to hold a National Truggy event inline with whatever the application requires EG Buty Van at each event, Toilets must be clean and have both Male and Female segregation Track requirments minimum width ect

Hope this answers a few questions

Glyn

Cheers Glyn for information so basically its really the same format as this year then so just have to await propossed dates and venues for the Truck & Truggy Nats 2008;

Actually thats not the case.

Comittee members are not allowed to vote for a club that they are affiliated with. Same happened last year, you can apologise to Glyn and Dan now though Dan.

As noted above:

Section Award went to Kevin Alcock for his hard work over the past few years.

5 rounds, 3/5 to count. One race to be held at a northern track.

4 racers to bump up in each of the final, everybody gets a final.
Monster trucks will be dropped if less than 10 entries.

Track application process with start 1st December, tracks will be announced before the end of the year.

Dates and Registration for the championship will open 9th of January and close at the end of January (or when we are full up).

Priority given to those registering for 3 or more rounds at different tracks and those that completed 4 rounds from 2007 (same as last year).

Same outstanding and fantastic format as last year.

Prices remain frozen at £12.50 per round, more news on this soon.

Lets race baby :D

Regards,
Neil.

Ohh..look at that..I happen to be the Moderator for the Truggy forum..Oh the power. (Rob, you REALLY need to give that privilage to Neil or someone else!)

What on earth is wrong with you guys?
As an ex-Rallycross racer who still holds a very keen interest it really worries me when I read the threads and posts here and in the Rallycross section.

Constant bitch fights, negativity, bad vibes and ultimatly this is going to be reflected to any 'outsider' who reads these threads...with a view to racing Rallycross/Truggies.

Rallycross is HUGELY popular, and Neil has done a brilliant job of bringing Truggies to the masses.
You're supposed to be working together/racing together for the commen cause..to promote Rallycross and Truggy racing within the UK whilst also having a damned good time/laugh racing yourselves..

Wheres that all gone too?

savagemachine
30-10-2007, 04:35 PM
If Neil has got the time to be a mod of this section then i vote for Neil as he will keep things up to date and under control in a sensible manner;

Really i find it hard that we have to nominate a mod for this section to be honest with you all and cannot run this section without it being moderated but hey thats life i suppose.

After all the r/c world is all about geting out there racing, having fun and socializing and not all this back chat all the time

To be honest with you Asterix I feel your pain, what with the Anger Management Classes (imposed by Court Order!), my Cage Fighter commitments, Gym and Boxing classes I hardly find the time to meet my parole officer let alone reply to posts on race chat...............Hey Ho it'll all work out in the end.
