Now that the seaon is over we need to start thinking about the AGM so can we use this thread for any proposals for next year. We will be having the AGM in Stonehaven, time and place TBA.

This season has been a good one so lets try and make next year better :)

Allow 1350g 5 cell modified to be run in Open Modified (brushed or brushless) with 1500g 6 cell, until we go to only 5 cel maybe!

1) Make championship consist of 5 of 8 or 6 of 9 to allow for dropped rounds etc.

2) Trophies for everyone who completes any club series.

3) Junior and senior championships to be seperate ie can not compete in both.

As brushless seems an obvious way forward, allow the use of 10.5 turn brushless motors to be trial run in the 19 turn class alongside brushed motors....if there is an obvious performance gain then revert back to only brushed motors.....if proven to be succesful then maybe the club can be one of the first to prove succesful in the transition to brushless.....also work closely with sister club GRCC and assist in this transition where possible. ;)

Paint the rostrum prior to the GP + think about extra power requirements (probably will need generators to supplement the 240v mains?)

To run 10.5 Brushless motors along with 19T next year in the same championship. In addition to having trophies for all who complete the series have an addition trophy for either 19T or brushless champion depending on who wins overal ie 2 champs out of the one class but all racing together:).

I think this is the only fair way to run things until we see which way our sport is going to go .

We had a good AGM yesterday with 16 people turning up to talk about what we want to do next year :). We have voted in the full BRCA pro-stock class and modified is going to be 5 cell 1425g & 6 cell 1500g running either mod motors or brushless. For full AGM minutes check the SDRCC web site.
