Just a small thankyou

I would like to thank Mike, the team and all the host clubs for all their effort this year with the STCC, I've had some ups and some downs but I've enjoyed myself and I'm sure thats what its all about.

Looking forward to an 08 edition, I know its a little early but cant wait.

It's been an absolute hoot to take part in a series run by local club members for other like minded local clubs.

Having spent a fair amount of tme helping prepare Coastals facilities (it's not just a track that needs prepared) for yesterdays meeting, I can with a fair degree of certainty acknowledge the hard work of all the eager beavers at each of the 8 tracks we've visited this year.

A special mention to Andy for running the timing equipment with I'm sure the odd headache along the way.

I've been reading the other threads about the series which seem full of criticisms and gripes. These make depressing reading coming so soon after the end of a great series and it seems it's so much easier for people to vent their frustrations remotely in writing rather than face to face, with little thought for the feelings of others in a public forum in saying some things that may have been better said in private. I think the number of subsequent apologies and retractions together with "thats not what I meant" statements, shows how dangerous it is to relieve frustrations via a keyboard!

To all at Maritime - very well done on winning the club championship! To all those individuals who improved their own performances - congratulations, and to all those eager beavers at all clubs, a simple but heartfelt thanks for making a great seasons racing.

Many thanks guys, whilst I personally appreciate your comments, please remember it isn't just me.
No series can run without a lot of help in the background and of course the support of the hosting clubs and you the drivers.
So a great thanks to you all, and specifically to Andy, Cam, Mac and Matt, and all the clubs that support the STCC.
Now, on to planning for 2008 :)
