Hi im thinking of buying a mission.
How much better is the carbon version from the standard version.
Also someone in another topic said that the carbon version was £90, where from, I have seen the standard version for £99 but not the carbon version.
cheers chris

well nobody will be allowed to tell you where from! not here anyway, maybe somebody can pm mr finchy...
i would recomend the carbon, its mainly because i really dislike the S1 material and the carbon is just one big PLUS! looks, performance...
plus it will be more responsive to setup changes that you make to the car, i have always found this very helpful, with the S1 you wondered if all these adjustments actually made a difference, you can instantly tell with the carbon
hope that helps

lol, i should really get some sleep now....im the only one online! ::) ::) ::) -twiddles thumbs- ::) ::) ::)
night all ;)
I doubt you will find a brand new carbon fibre mission for £90, I think they meant it had been reduced by around £90!
The carbon version is nicer than the s1, and it is now very good valuie for the specification.
I imagine most schumacher stockists will sell them at the new prices.

RRP is now £100 for S1 and £150 for carbon. I would guess that on the street that would probably be £90 and £135.

And heres another thought, buy the standard s1, and with the money you save you are well on the way to the cost of the waprspeed chassis set for it, thicker carbon, with a better left to right balance, and a very stiff upper deck, if only they did it in a nice silver finish.

Ben, Is the warpspeed chassis easily available in the UK??? I have only ever seen one and i know that came direct from the US.
I know where you can get one from - even held one in my hand 8)
Nice piece of kit too.
Try Microtech Racing in Swindon, they may be able to help.

MattW

They don't come with a shell. The carbon should be better, just depends on if you wish to pay the extra cash.
