I bought a B3 a year or so agom, with little experience other that Mardaves...
One thing I will say about the B3's are that you have to get the shocks built right, i.e no air in the oil, this is pretty much paramount... plus, trying to get the car level i.e front bones level with cells in...
Also keeping the rear diff clean and well lubed, helps I have found...
What I did when I was starting out with the buggy was to look at the sort of track i was gonna race at, it was on the associated web site, they have differfent set ups for different track conditions, this helped loads.... as I was running too much Toe in, and too much Neg Camber... Just copy one of these set ups.
If you are just starting out, as i was, I would recommend starting out with stock motors 27T, unless you are used to faster... I was'nt but did a week or so on stocks then went straight onto 12t doubles.. lots of from wishbones broken I can tell you!..
The majority of crashes I had - where down to throttle control!! i,e too fast into corners grip rolling or nose diving off jumps - not keeping the throttle on in the air to keep the nose up.....
Hope some of this is of some use.???

if u have loads of power in your b3 then it will understeer quite a bit if u dont get it setup right and dont have right throttle control.
make sure u keep the diff nice and clean as it really effects the cars handling!

Hi Guys..
The setup I often used was either green or silver springs
35wt oil in front
30wt oil in back
Just below level front/rear with regards to ride height..
And the rest was as per kit...
There were a couple of guys who previously posted some setups on this forum...
On the whole the car is easy to setup and drive

2 degree rear toe in blocks with 3 degree anti squat - but washer (supplied in pack) fitted to give 1.5 anti-squat - this made a big difference for me.
Don't be affraid to have slipper slipping a lot, about 6ft if need be to keep weight on front when accelerating - therefore more steering.
Mine never nose dived, used to land back heavy if anything so had wing as low as possible and could cope. Sorry, can't help with that one. Id normally say longer shocks but it causes grip roll by moving shocks to inner hole on wishbone on B3.
