I have just switched to 19t from stock and was wondering what sort of setup i should?

Hi. How big is your carpet track?

Our track is around 10sec best lap.

If you want to fit your car at small indoor, you would find Andy moore set-up

on the Hotboddy website, Also refer to CRF track set-up sheet.

I haven't chaged many thing from that set-up.

In addition, my ratio is about 6.9¬7.2 at 4minute race. (check point)

Our track isn't that big about 6.5-7.0 sec best lap, also if anyone has any tips for 19t set-up at the carpet thrashnels that would be helpful

Last season, not hit the rug this year yet, i generally ran the setup i brought back from the CRF Faciltiy race...
In 19t it was awesome, using a Mazdaspeed, it was easily the best my car had ever felt on carpet...

Just standard, the BMI is really for super high traction foam racing...

Did you have full rebound on your shocks without the foams in the bladder?

I tried your setup, but found that the car was swoping ends at a hairpin, the car suspension seem to collasp, any idea why please? I put a spool in with the rest of the setup the same, and was driverble. but not very ballanced

Running rebound in the shocks will stop the car collapsing so easily during cornering. :cool:

Hi Mark
So do I keep the same setup (with the one-way) and run the foams above the bladder and rebound, or just rebound with no foams above the bladder?

Maybe sometimes on tracks with long turns where the suspension has time to load up the suspension can kinda collapse, rebound will help like mark says, just build rebound into the shocks with out the foams.

funny thing i was gona try that as the car felt quite good in the turns, but at the end of a long straight with a hair pin bend thats when the problem accured :'(

I never run foam compensators in the shocks. I usually build half or full rebound into the shocks, and this seems to help it stop collapsing in the fast bends, and also makes the car more responsive generally.
