Why is it that in the news section it says about the price of missions dropping, yet in the online shop its still at its old price? ???

lol - schumacher hardly ever update their website, it's very annoying.

Apex sell the the missions for the new price and others shops probably do as well do - so if you're looking for a cheap mission just try the modelshops rather than schumacher direct.

The first place i look whenever i need spares is the Website, but if missions are cheaper elsewhere, then are other parts cheaper?? Shopping around is the key i reckon!

All model shops (online and high-street) are selling the Missions at the lower prices (£99 and £149), apart from one that I've seen. The parts seem to cost about the same from Schumacher direct or a modelshop.

I agree about their site, however flashy a website is, it's the content that matters, and the Schumacher one needs to be a bit more dynamic. I wonder if they are looking for a web developer, as that's what I do for a living, cars and 'puters combined, now that would be my dream job 8)

The website is not updated and will not be with any new products.

Schumacher are currently working on a new website and this is not speculation - i got this straight from Schumacher. However they did admit it's still a little distance off completion.

That's a mixed bag of good and bad news then - good news if the updated site appears, but I've seen sites before which stagnate whilst new ones are being built, and the new ones don't surface.

It's a difficult position for a company when updating a site (I know, it happens where I work) when you need to make a decision on putting a hold on the current site whilst doing something new, but to the end users it looks like nothing's being done.

I think it's essential when making plans for a major site overhaul, to include provision for keeping the current site up to date until the day the new one comes online, especially if the new site is a long way away. Content is important, and it's not that difficult to keep a site up to date with current news/current and new model information..

When the BTCC was at Milton Keynes, the word for Tim Walden was that the new site was under construction, and was 10-12 weeks away. That was back in the start of September, so its due soon.

Agree with all the above, I tend to look at the schumacher site for part number's and that's about it.

Well, it's better than www.ttechracing.com and www.mardaveracing.com - these were last updated 2-3yrs ago!

Hehe, good point. It's a shame when websites aren't kept up to date, and even sorrier when they have a "Last updated" javascript on them to let everyone know how out-of-date they are ::)

the "teamtalk" section used to be really good, a few guys used to be really knowledgable, by memory they were called RADWELD and LONGRAT.

then they both started to not come on as much, and then the forum became a bit like the old trinity tech talk..... which was, ahem, not good!

the only section that gets updated is the new secxtion and the newsletters really...

glad they're working on a new site
