Thats because 12th oval have got their own forum now that nobody knows about or can find unless they are 'in the loop'.
I was emailed the entry form the other day; I'm assuming your club didnt get the email?

There is no secret about the worlds event,
It is being held at Rockingham on the 15th and 16th September, closing date is the 3rd of September, all club promoters should have the details, matt I know that Alan has entry forms available at the Urmston club.
If you are interested in this event take a look at www.brca12thoval.createforum.net
Rob, you at the next Stoney meet, can have a chat while you are rebuilding that Banger of yours.

Find it mildly amusing (but mainly annoying) that as the webmaster of the Rugby website I haven't received a form.
The communication within this section has reached a new low in the past year or so, absolutely appalling.
Also, I've had enough of using a second-rate forum where we're subject to exactly the same rules as on here, but without the option to actually pay for advanced features. Ridiculous. No-one outside the core 30 people know it exists and lets be honest we're not there for the good of the section are we...
I will be posting on here from now on I think.

A contacts section on your website might help:)

On the front page in red writing:
"Any questions or comments about the club or website? Leave a message in the Guestbook or email us: website@rugbystockcarclub.co.uk"
That first post of mine was OTT, but I'm not gonna delete it because I do strongly feel that moving from this forum was a big mistake because like it or not it had become the main point of contact for a large number of racers. Then all of a sudden we have to go somewhere else and most people didn't have a clue. The reports from nationals have disappeared which is a real shame, the BRCA website doesnt have a single mention of the 2007 Worlds, it took months and months to sort out the motor debacle and all of these communication problems are taking their toll on the racing scene.

Matt,
got to agree with you there .... I used to post on here on a daily basis... helping out other drivers, informing people of upcoming events, posting points tables etc... there was (generally) a good and helpful atmosphere and as a whole the 1/12th oval section was buzzing.. then we were asked not to post on here and use the new forum... and hey presto... the section is falling apart... (although I am sure that this isn't the only reason).
Like you said (and I totally agree with you) it has taken months to sort out the motor issue...something that would have been communicated better if regular posts on this site had been allowed.
As a whole I think (know) we are losing 1/12th members to other classes and scales, and part of the reason is the poor communication and the lack of promotion (through this site) to other RC users.
Just my oppinion....

Thanks guys for posting where the 'official' 12th oval forum is; I have been wondering what happened, as I joined this forum just after the new official site was started.
I must say I followed the link and came away unimpressed.
Rather than bemoaning the 'passing of a good forum', would it not be better to vote with your posts and use whichever forum suites you best?
We have all been brought up with consumer choice, whichever forum proves the most popular will surely flourish, official or not!
I am certainly not criticising the BRCA or any of the guys & gals that do such a great job for little reward.
Promotion of 12th oval is what counts most; and keeping a lively forum wherever it is hosted can only be a good thing.
I have bookmarked the official site and will read both (official & here) but so far my vote is for this forum as being more in the public eye.
