Yes, I am sorry to say that it looks like it may be wet at some point on Sunday! That said, the car parking is firm and sound under foot so this is not affected! See you all there.........

The way it looks it will be light rain, so hopefully not a washout like Bashley.

The track seems to clear pretty quick though from all accounts so lets just cross fingers

i am praying its dry last time i was at snett this year it rained all day!!

Want to race at least once there in the dry!

Currently Saturday is overcast, Sunday light rain, Monday Sunshine

We went up to practice on Monday just gone.It was wet and raining all the way from Colchester :'( until we got to the Snetts slip road off the A11,so only a few hundred yards from the track.And the track had not had any rain.We were there for 4-5 hours and it stayed bone dry,we could see it raining in the distance but it never touched us.
Fingers crossed for Sunday.:)

Please note, unless you are IN the portacabin there will be NO MAINS AVAILABLE. You will not be allowed to run extension leads outside from the cabin. Generators are fine provided that they are used properly and don't gas everyone to death. So make sure your 12v Leisure batteries are charged if you don't have a genny.
This is for Health and Safety reasons.

John, just loved those pants:D. Thanks to all the driver yesterday for making my life an easy one. Your praise should really go to Andy, he kept the meeting running smoothly I just watched the racing, weighed cars and generally checked things.
One thing I didn't mention at drivers briefing which I meant to do, was, the guy who came up with the idea of STCC, Rob Fitzgerald, is leaving this noble country of ours and heading off for the mountains of Bulgaria (I kid you not). So if you've got a couple of minutes PM him, thanking him for starting the ball rolling and also the best of luck in his new venture. Also he's also the guy responsible for me being able to write this. Racechat was/is another of Rob's brillant ideas.

It was really great to see the STCC doing so amazingly well and it seems weird to think about the conversations we all had back before we started it as to what people might want. Luckily we were mostly right :D

I think the series is in very safe hands (and always has been) and I must say that you, the racers seem to be racing in the series with the spirit intended - well done.

As far as BG and RaceChat is concerned - "Don't panic" - boradband is going in the day before I arrive so it will be business as usual - I might even have some spare time for some new stuff - who knows.

PS - it was 102 degrees out there yesterday :eek:

Gooood Meeting.. enjoyed the day.. Shame a few away on National Duties and a lil low count for drivers.. But thats sure to pick up for Bashley ;)

Anyone having probs with Pictures atm?.. or arent they posted even thought it says they are :confused: Image gallery doesnt show for.. 2007 or 2006.. but does for 2005..

Pics are working fine when I looked 30 secs ago.
