mart, i ran a 3 piece top deck (dont know which it was) and the car was very pradictable and smooth through the corners. however after the 2nd round i guess the track gained grip and it wasnt very good, so for the 4th round i reverted back to the solid top deck and it was alot better. i would run it early in the morning when the grip isnt there as much, and then change back to the standard one for the 3rd, 4th rounds and the finals.
hope this helps

I'd run the stiffest top deck on carpet.

I agree, run the flexible decks in low grip situations and the stiff deck in high grip situations. I have been informed by a few people that the 3 piece deck is prone to tweaking the chassis and not to use it.

Mr Baxter's got it right for you Chris. Wooden floor = low grip...

the chassis will only become tweaked if the 2 screws are too tight on the top deck, and they stick, when they are lose they return straight. its only when the 2 screws are to tight which causes problems
