I am new to touring cars and have just got back into racing after a long break....
I purchased a TC3 off ebay and I will be racing it on a polished wooden floor at the club in Inverurie Scotland, my question is....how important is the droop setting, if at all? and what difference will it make to the handling of the car?

Droop is very important, as it directly affects the amount of shock travel. If you remove the droop screws from a TC3 you will end up with full shock travel, which will be OK, but not necessarily give the best handling. Screwing in the droop screws too much will start to reduce the amount of travel and will seriously affect handling.

Here is an excerpt from the TC3 tuning guide, which gives a bit of infro about when to use droop:

• Try decreasing droop in the front arms on high traction smooth tracks when your car’s front end rises on acceleration. The decrease can give you more steering this way. In the rear, less droop is used only for high traction, smooth tracks.
• Increase droop for bumpy tracks.
• Droop affects shock travel. If the track has high traction, such as carpet, then you may want to take droop out of your car by going higher on the droop
gauge.
• Too little droop will cause a loss of traction.
