Hi Chris

Not yet, I've bought the upgraded brushed motor & I'm running an old m'tronics pro-digi speedo.

It was out of the box on Friday as some upgrades hadn't arrived yet, (got through 3 driveshafts on the back so far but replaced now).

Best nights racing I've had in a long while and can't wait until next week, (baby permitting)

Forgot to take the forms to WORM tonight, but there should be atleast 4 from WORM, hopefully around the same from Gloucester too if not more.

Cant wait though :)

Reet then peoples...how many of you are gonna take up this brilliant chance to test before the first round of the Nationals and turn up at Hereford on August 12th?

Team UKMRC will be there, as will most of Team WORM and a selection of muppets from Team Glos (ill include myself in that lot! lol)

Heard from Hereford Club that entry forms are coming in now so places are filling up nicely :)

UK Micro Challange 2 winner Chris Hudson will be there as will his brother Tom who was a dominant figure in the Brushless classes.
Dan Osborne, a regular A finalist with his brushed Blaze will be there defending his title from last years Hereford Open.
Steve Davis (obviously), winner of Pro-Stock class from UK Micro Challenge 3 will be racing on the day too..
Wez Myles, UKMC3 A finalist and all round top bloke will be showing us his offroad skills with his FTX Blaze.
As will I..which is always worth a chuckle :)

Just over 6 weeks to go isnt it?
Still super excited about this event!
Will be great to see how the Blaze fares against the Blaze ST on a track that will be VERY similar to those at the National's :)

Guy's, would you, at least in the future, concider a class for the Sportwerks Reciol 1:14 Touring car? We have a number of them at Leighton Buzzard (with more appearing each week) and I'd wager they'd love to race at alternative venue's and at bigger meetings.

Just a thought.

Hi Tim,

If we were to put on a class for the Recoil, we would have to design a flat track (with a few removable jumps). I may be speaking for Hereford alone here, but unfortunately, this is not the intention for our Micro National event, or this Open event.

I agree that interest is is really picking up for the Recoil, but I'm not sure if the Micro nationals will be able to support them, as they will almost all be multi-surface events.

Just my views,

Chris.

Only 2 weeks to go till our micro meeting a brilliant chance to get some practice at one of the national winter series venues and see some of what you might have to contend with at our round of the series the track will be to the micro winter series rules and its indoors so who cares if its raining.

The Hereford Open Meeting was an amzing success with one of the best track layouts we have ever seen in the UK micro scene!!

Perfectly run, without a single issue, the racing was close, exciting and fast :)

Well done to all the final winners (who's names I dont remember cos I never looked at the sheets properly!)

Hereford Club should be SUPER proud of todays event. They have certaily set the bar for National tracks that everyone will need to try and better!

More reports coming from your faithful PRO, Bill, soon :)

For a warm welcome, a really excellent track. Trouble free racing and a massive amount of FUN. If you racers enjoy racing but sometimes want to add the big fun element to competitiveness and challenging tracks then this is the class for you. Warm indoor racing at a fraction of the cost of other classes.

Really looking forward to supporting you guys through the Nationals.

Who did jump the highest

Hi Rob

I saw your car almost doing a back flip, you almost cleared Steve Davies's head with it as well due to the fact he was marshalling a car at the time:D :D

The highest car jumping was after the last final with Steve & Wez taking the jump flat out and getting around the 6 to 7 foot mark and landing around 6 foot past the end of the down ramp:eek:

There were plenty of photo's taken which will all be on the micro x site soon.

Regards

Chris
