Hi,
The xxx4 as built by the manual has the left rear arm on the right and vice versa.
What is the effect of running them left on left and right on right?
I understand they have about 5mm of "swoop" what effect does this have?
Thanks

depending on if you have L on R and R on L or if you have L on L and R on R it will change the wheel base.
not sure which way is longer.
the G+ xxx4 is different to the 1st eddition. with the updated rear shock towers you were told to change the wishbones round. not sure why.
'swoop' could you mean 'droop'? and not sure how you measure the exact droop on an off road car.
did that confuse anyone? ::)

Maybe running left wishbone on right hand side of the car right on left side is possibly the reason as to why you don't seem to be able to generate the same amount of rear grip comming out of corners at high or low speeds as mine on the same tyres
Running L on R & R on left gives you a longer wheel base.

Chris, i did mean swoop, ie they angle forwards slightly, reducing wheelbase, i will try them both ways next week at oxon.
I guess the shorter wheelbase direction will give more rear grip?

I see what you mean now.
s and d are quite close on the keyboard so was not sure... ;D
yes, I would imagine shortening the wheel base from the rear would give more rear grip. but I would just have it how the book says, use the spacers to change the wheel base.
