wonder if the touring versions will fit a tc3?

Schumacher were the first to run ballraced drive shafts on the original cat 2000 but the ballraces were concealed in the sleave of the drive shaft and if you lost a bearing I think they were about £17-20 a pair or £45-50 for new drive shafts.
I remember reading that the bearings that are used are the steering bearings from the XXX which are about £20 a set.
I don't think the performance gain is going to be significant enough to justify buying a set as looking at a worlds report in one of the monthly publications Brian Kinwald had modified the rear moulded outdrives with a dremel and added a type of saver ring to the outdrive.

yeh I just found out that info today from other forums and magazines, interesting to have a go though.
compared tc3 and xxx-s driveshafts and the losi ones are longer. so would have to put them on myself.
maybe a project for the future, and when i have somemore time
