Is it worth, with the thrust race, to find a part from another car, that runs a cage on its thrust race, just a thought, as I have read that the diff screw can have a tendancy to let go underneath the screw head?

hi DCM,
never had this problem, and I raced the 7.6 for one season, but then again, i had 3 diffs, and regulary swapped and did maintenance on them. Had the 17/37 pulleys and belts on though, so found it easier to get dirt inside the diffs.

heard about some new diffs coming out? sure mike can comment.

Correct, an all new super-diff is on the board right now, just waiting to complete and release the new layshaft before I can fix some of the diff dimensions.

hi mike,
ahhh,is this one piece layshaft? the one i saw at rockingham.
pressume the diff will be plastic? i prefered the ally one due to the dual screw, but the only problem was with the driveshaft 'cutting' into the outdrives, know two people whos ally diffs have gone 'caput' due to the ware issue, saying that they are 1 year old(the diffs that is :-X).
suppose the only real answer is blades.

As far as i'm aware, the outdrives of the new diff will be Acetal, along with the pulley itself and it's belt guides.

correct me if im wrong mike
