Ths championship for individuals is scored on a best 6 of 8 results format. This is very fair as it allows an individual to play a full part in the championship whilst allowing for holidays or work commitments getting in the way of attending all 8 meetings.
Has any thought ever been given to allocating championship points only to those taking part in the "whole" championship i.e. 6 or more rounds.
The reason I ask is that there is often a home track advantage for all local drivers and where a club is very well supported locally, a large number of local entrants performing well can be to the detriment of other drivers who when it gets to their own local club do not see such numbers of "local" drivers to balance things out. I hope this makes sense!
