View Full Version : Barham - wet weekend
Looks like it might be a touch damp this weekend. As such is there ever any trouble getting into the track when it is wet (Im thinking my car is a touch lower than most and I don't wanna get stuck) ?
Racing should be fun with a damp track, bluetack anyone :D

There is a rather steep slope into the track area i think your car may stuggle getting down/up the slope its only small but it may catch the bumpers. The main area of pitting is gravel which if i remeber right is quite bumby, there is grass to pit on though.

I had a look on uk weather for sunday's forecast. Only a 10% chance of the wet stuff.
70% on Saterday though.

I will be at the track on Saturday from mid afternoon onwards. I really do hope we have a relatively dry weekend ;)
Well Mike as long as it is just damp that will be ok, it is when puddles form a la Bashley 2006 that it becomes a pain.
I don't want it to rain as this is only my second round of 6 im doing , so need a good showing.

Metcheck.com (which has proved remarkably accurate in the past... to the extent of predicting the time of the brief shower we had at Eastbourne ) suggests it will be clear and dry all day on Sunday at the moment.
I have to say, it's been threatening to brighten up down here over the last couple of days, so with any luck the weather will hold.
They did say today was going to be bright and clear, and it is wet so perhaps the weather is piling it on and will clear then, fingers crossed peeps

Yep, I just checked metoffice.co.uk, and yes it says the weather is clearing. I guess the extra rain we had this mid week drained the sky a bit, super sweet !!!

Are there actually any differences?
I have noticed this time that my tyres have the corally logo imprinted on the wheel, whereas all my others hadn't.
I guess its just a small update or something similar.

There is only one type available, that I promise. We have now changed over completely to the new rim, the tyres and inserts remain exactly the same. Tyres are a better fit on these rims and easier to glue up.
They are only pulling your legs guys, the tyres are all the same, it is our driving that is better ;) hehehehe
