Does anyone know if you can convert a sportwerks turmoil rally x car to the truggy version or is it quicker to buy a rtr version.iv'e seen mbx5 kits at the shop and what does it need to be done to make it race ready.

It can be done ! But the cost would be a bit high. If you really want to do it check out my site www.createsometurmoil.co.uk. Horizon UK and myself have given it a go with a chassis kit from the states and a Mayhem ST as the doner car.
Starting from the Mayhem ST is simplest if you can pick one up cheap! with the lovely 26 SW Engine.
It has ben run twice now ! At Burton emnorc in the hands of 19turn wizrd Rob Fox were it bumped into the A final and we think came 2nd but transponder foul up gave him 4th or 5th his first ever nitro off road race!!
. And I left my Losi 8T alone and ran it at J28 in the RRCI series support Class last sunday. First round I was on for a good run when engine stopped last corner last lap. TQ'ed the second round and final round engine stopped last lap last corner again ?? Go figure. Car suffers from understeer but is very stable. Gonna be experimenting with ancherman bars soon to try and improve things. A Final Qual 3rd even with 2 non finnishes and final I got it wrong on the straight first lap and took the front hub off!
If you need a list of bits let me know but I strongly suggest the mayhem st source car then you can leave your turmoil intact.

sell your Turmoil and get a Mugen ,fantastic truggy never brakes and fast out the box. You do not need to buy the pro version as the standard Mugen is just as good and will perform in the same manner
Its Martin proof ;-)
 have a word at you lhs.. for a deal as you will need engine and radio gear and starter box ect.. would say it would cost about 200 at least to put a mugen on the track unless you go through fleabay..:D

Just get your Mugan and transfer all your radio and engine into it and off you go, then sell your rolling chassis.......simple..........
