Thanks Jason

the shops can be named here which will not break rules as long as NO shop links or prices with the shop name!!

Sorry not us, but thanks for the plug Mark :o

I think you will find it is Ted Longshaw Models you need to contact.

Or action model centre.

I have found the UFRA SE medium rears to work well with corally silver fronts if you're not using additive. They're a really grippy tyre, although they wear quite quickly. When I used a brand new set, my car had almost as much grip as it has if I use corally golds/silvers with additive!

If you're using additive though, nothing beats corally golds/silvers and jaco greys/purples.

While we're on the subject of tyres, did I see david spashett using tyres made by a company called gandini at the chesterfield national? I saw it written in a tech chart in a magazine. Has anyone else tried these tyres?

I think that you will find that most foam tyres are made by gandini or (gandini racing products) trc and i beleive jaco as well as fast tyres not too sure about corally though

The GRP tyres all come from the same factory - Fast Tyres, Ellegi, Powers etc etc. We use the GRP (in whatever form) tyres in Touring Cars w/o additive, and they work BRILLIANTLY. Obviously they work better with additive. If you contact Helger they may be able to tell you where they are from, I see from the Helger site they import them.

I've never used them with additive, although the SE mediums are great tyres (as said before!). I use SE's on the back of my mardave v12, with pink mediums on the front, and haven't found or seen a better tyre combination for use on a mardave without additive.

I would go for corally tyres, or jaco if you can afford them!
