I tried the rear shock tower on the front last night and I was having a few problems. When I mount the bottom of the shocks into the outside holes of the new wishbones, the wheel scrapes the eye at the bottom of the shocks. Also, the round plastic bit that the springs sit on touches the c-hub, is that ok??

firstly u will need to run atleast 2 deg castor blocks so the shock retainer doesnt catch on the c blocks. an secondly ull need to file about 2mm off the shcok eylets so u can get ur rideheighet lower.

I just looked at mine and it's not quite touching however I cut the eyelets to make them shorter, which means the spring cup sits lower.

Haven't had any problems yet.

Hope this helps :)

Matt,

I had the same problem with the spring on the C-hub. Solution I found was to place a spacer (cut from a servo spacer) between the shock cap and the tower. That moves it far enough away from the c-hub.

I shaved a little bit off the eyelet to avoid the wheel rubing on it, but I normally set the tranny to less than 100% anyway.
