Sorry for sounding thick but can someone please explain to m exactly what it means on the set ups when it speaks about 7mm pressure and half pressure ?? and also how this actually alters the handling of the car.

It's referring to how much rebound is built into the shocks. To build in 7mm of pressure, push the shock shaft in 7mm, and screw on the cap. Having more rebound stops the car collapsing mid corner, and if it does collapse, it returns to 'normal' more quickly.

I think it's supposed to help with fast direction changes, and it enables the car to corner flatter.
