Tomorrow (Friday) is the day of Leighton's funeral... Try and set aside a few moments during the day for a bit of reflection/thought for a fellow racer and all round good guy, sadly, no longer with us...

This news really touched me on sunday at the BTCC (a series Leighton would normally of attended) at Stafford. I had a few moments of thought about him at the weekend as that was the first I had heard about it.
Real shame for such a sound guy to pass away so young but as I always think about it with my brother (died at 19yrs old) - 'The good ones die young' and this is exactly how I think of Leighton as a genuinely good guy.

The charity choosen for this year's WLRC charity memorial meeting is Kidney Research UK with Leighton in mind.
The meeting is being held this Bank Holiday Monday, Monday 7th May. Every penny of the race entry fees and the proceeds from the excellent raffle go to charity. So if you want a good days racing and to support charity come along to WLRC. You can book in on-line through the WLRC club web site. Booking in will remain open until Saturday night.
