My rear belt has just flipped over so that the teeth are facing up, this has now happend twice.
Whats wrong, could it just be stones gettin caough in the pully as i have had to pick out small stones from it each time??

Could be. I haven't ever had this problem with the rear belt. Which belt is it??? I have seen a main belt flip, but not had the problem personally. All you can do is check that everything is built correctly and there isn't any damage. If there is any then the part should be replaced.

Sounds likek what Matt said diffs the wrong way round , but also what pully are you using on the lay shaft? 18T or 20T? Does your belt skip under hard braking? If you are using 18T pulley make sure the layshaft mount is at the correct orientation (hole facing rearwards) else the belt will be lose... :)

im using the 2o tooth pully and after fliping the belt back over, i serviced my diff and made sure it went on the right way, so hopefully it wont happen again.

Cheers for the replies.

I have had the rear belt flip twice on my mission, havent had it happen for a while (fingers crossed) I never did find out what the problem was and as it never happened again I havent looked into it, I just looked at it as "one of thos things".
