Hello MeN,
Ive been building a T1R-which as gone o.k-until.....
i got to the suspension-
i cain't get my head around the bleeding & set-up process,

After ive filled shocks & got most of air bubbles out & installed the top cap-etc-,do i then turn shocks up-side down, and un-screw the top-
Do i un-screw the top a little??-
or un-screw till it cap comes off??-

Then do i just leave the shocks up-side down for 10mins-
(to vent or some thing)??

But-When i come back to screw top back on-it always seems like there isn't enough oil left in them??

But, if i build them & bypass the bleeding bit the shocks seem o.k!
but when i push piston shaft in,it will slowly push it self back out-but don't do that when i pull the shaft out ( it doesn't pull it self back in)-

but if ive read instructions properly it says when push shaft in,it should,nt push it self back out and visa versa when pulling shaft out...

**If some one could explain the bleeding process better & how to stop the re-bound it would be most appreciated**

Thank You

Steve :-[

well, my rear shocks are for ever leaking.

my front ones are brilliant just the rear ones. i built them all the same so i cannot see why just the rear ones are leaking.

i have bean told my membranes could be a little torn so let oil through but i am not to sure.

There's nothing wrong with having rebound. So long as all four shocks are the same in their level or rebound then all is well and good. At a pinch you can get away with having the fronts with the same rebound and the rears with a different one, so long as they are paired up equally.

sounds like your membrane rubber thing has been pushed down into the body itself, that was the case when i was having trouble anyway

This might sound a little wierd, but try the Serpent membranes... They are different, a little thicker than the Xray ones, and they seem to seal better as a result.
