1st nitro car. wheel drive is a 14mm hex. can it be converted to 17mm hex.if not what wheel/tyre options are there.also has anyone got a racing set-up they can post.theres no info on springs either.black standard.red/blue option.which is harder/softer.any weak areas/must have spares.cheers all

Yes it can. My lad will tell you what he did. I cant remeber the set up he used but he will have it in his head.
Ill get him to PM you with a base set up!
We only ran it once mind but he did get TQ on the first day so its good enough! ;)
If you have no purchased your Truggy yet I reccomend the Xray . Its well endowed with steering with what we have seen thus far! This was with stock kit Xray tyres as well.

shock ends are a must have as are body mounting posts.
red stiffest > Blue -> black (if I remember correctly).
two ways, proper way, or cheap way:
proper way:
Basically you need parts C8065 £4
C8072 Front universal joint £21 Ouch
2 86387 HPI parts these are the 17m hex adapters.£9
then 4 wheel nuts £3-4
cheap way:
HPI Parts:
HPIZ680
and
HPI86804
I prefer the above way as its more of the buggy style 17mm but the other way works pretty good also.
