Can anyone recommend gearing for an sst 99 for 27t stock motors please. I only used to run mod so am not sure how much higher I should gear it.
Advice for indoor carpet and outdoor tracks would be great thanks

if you could say what sort of track you are or will be racin on this will be helpful as your gearing will change from track to track, also plz state which stock moter you are using?

Sorry for not being to clear.
Oh and I have now decided to run a 19T stock motor, it will either be a Trinity Chameleon or a Peak Dynasty(Pending on which I have the best feedback on)
Its a fairly small indoor carpet track I will be running rubber tyres. I will be using GP3300 cells.

as the internal ratio of the 99 is 2.00 i would advise you to go for a gearing as close to the role out 7.00 as poss. below is a list of some different gearings for your car. (bold is what i think you should go for with each spur)
86 spur
86/23 = roleout 7.48
86/24 = 7.16
86/25 = 6.88
83 spur
83/23 = 7.21
83/24 = 6.91
83/25 = 6.64
