540sh, G1 and G2

Hi guys new to oval racing but just had a question regarding motors.

I,ve just ordered a couple of G2 motors but was wondering if there is ant difference between the 540sh, G1 and G2????:confused:

the G2 is the Mabuchi 540 SH

depends what class you racing in mate
G1 will cope with 4 cell and really is as quick as a G2

G2 will cope with 6 cell were the G1 wont
