XXXs Threaded Shocks

Hi there,
I have just bought some of the threaded shocks(the ones off the G+)and have heard that they will let you set the car at a lower ride height. Is this true?

Yes, i think the ones of the first losi were too long (on the front anyway), and you had too trim the collars and the cups to get it lower. They released the threaded shock with shorter shafts and bodies.
