Hi Guys,
Got a Mr4-BC2 Buggy 2nd hand recently, it's been ballraced, but are there any other mods I should do to it???
It's running an 84t Spur, the motor is a 12T so what sought of gearing am I looking at as a start point?
Also any advice for camber and toe settings etc etc, will be racing indoors on carpet based track?
Any other hints and tips welcome?
Cheers in advance
Steve

Nothing you REALLY need to do, but if it takes your fancy you can buy things like a top deck, or alloy shocks of some variety.
I've run the car a couple of times on a carpetty surface (Teesside), the standard silver springs are stiff so work pretty well, you just need to run tyres without too much grip on front (I found that the standard microspike tyres work really well, especially after a little wear). I geared my 12 turn with a 19 or 20 on the 84.
I usually run 1 or 2 degrees of camber up front and 1 at the rear, toe in up front is dead ahead, or a touch of toe-in, rear is standard.

Thought you might be - not so many carpet indoor tracks out there for buggies!
There's really not much else I can say about running there - except it can be hard on the car if you crash or land a jump awkwardly. The car will nose-dive if you lift off over the jumps, keep the boot in and it will fly quite flat. I found heavier front damping helps with the jumps and bumps - not been down for a long time though.
