View Full Version : Glued sidewalls on the rear??

hi all i run pinks on the rear of my v12 but there startin 2 wear down and i have some almost brand new pinks with the sidewalls glued.my question is if you ran them on the rear would it cause u 2 slide out or anything???
any help is aprreciated

the glued sidewalls will cause you to have less sidewall flex so you would have less rear grip than if they werent glued. So you may have a slidey (oversteer) rear, it depends on your front grip situation.

Adam all you need to do is spin them up on the car and use a little fine sand paper to buff of the superglue. Never use it on the rear ony the front to tune the car if lots of oversteer

Is it superglue or Evostick ? If it is Evostick put some thinners on a earbud and wipe the surface to get the glue soft, you can then peel this away from the tyre (what I used to do with my slotcar tyres).

thanks for your replys people i think ill use the sand paper tip as they are the really big pinks too so i cant throw them away
