Excuse my stupidity as I am new to building new kits and fairly new to the sport. I have just purchased a xxx4 G+ and have just completed building it. All wired up and about to start going.... Problem...
When I accelerate, the spur gear and the belt all turn, however, the car does not move. At a guess, the diffs are just turning but not locking on to the wheels.
If you have encountered this problem when building the kit or if you just know what I have done wrong, I would appreciate your input.

Did you adjust your differentials as stated in the manual?

I am convinced that I set them up exactly as described in the manual. I will have to check again. Just not looking forward to disasembling it all.

getting the diffs out is easy, just take the front (for example) gearbox off, loosen the belt using the tensioner and then pull it out the front.
then, hold the ...
actually, before you do all that, put one side of the car on the floor and then turn the other rear wheel with your hand, does the outdrive turn? then does the belt turn?
if you hold the front wheels on the floor, and turn a rear wheel, does the other rear wheel turn the other way? or does nothing move?
... once you have the diff out, hold both outdrives and see if you can turn the diff gear, you should not be able to.
if you can, return the the manual and go through it again slowly, read it over first without even having any bits to work on the familarise yourself with it
hope that helps
