In my Surikan kit I had a red top pot full of black grease, a white top full of diff lube(?) and a tube of grease.

Whats the grease for???

Thanks in advance for answering my dumb question :)

Did you buy it new? As far as I know, you get white cap - silicon diff grease, red cap - thrust race grease, and a bottle of shock oil. I'm sure you wont have confused that with grease.

There was no other grease in either of mine.

I got some with my Moorespeed kit, according to the part no which is Z162 its 100K diff grease. The only thing it can be for is to prevent wear when running the spool.

Dan,

Where would you put it then?

Tube is about an inch long and came marked GREASE

White tube? Google HPZ162 and hopefully we're talking about the same thing, iv not used it yet but it could be an alternative for antiwear grease, to protect the spool outdrives.

Dan/Mark,

Excuse the question barrage...but where do you apply it to the spool?
What on earth is a blade?

If I dont ask..ill never learn!

Expect more questions soon :D

Hot bodies have the blades too, although they dont come with the car, and wont fit in the spool you have (Thats a lot of use isnt it!!!)
