Does anyone know if the new Mi2 is based on the Mission and what level of parts will be usable between the two?

From what I've seen it looks like transmission components diffs belts pullys etc and suspension pivots shocks springs and a few other bits but wishbones, steering , hubs etc are all new.

Paul Wynn (Schumacher USA) Posted a list of bits that could be carried over on one of the Us based forums, it went something like this
Shocks, Diff internals, Rear Belt, Layshaft pully, Lower Wishbone hangers, Bumper/body mounts, wheel hex's, bearings, top parts of servo saver, cell posts/strap, some turnbuckles.
Generally i would say that none of the major components are transferable.
The car shouldnt realy have any parts that are transfurable, little things like screws bearings and turnbuckles etc probly, but nothing major. If there was there wouldnt be any reason to bring the new car out!!!
Mark it would make no sense to re-design everything as many parts are race-proven designs for many years... the Mission 2 is more of an evolutionary design rather than revolutionary design... glad the anti-roll bars are new though... so we may actually get to try them... ;)

Most of the MI2 parts look revised to me, having seen a review of the production model in a mag today. The diffs are new apparently, and the shocks look different, as does the motor mounting.
Whilst the car is an evolution, I think that most of the parts have been slightly modified and improved where poss.
I'm sure the Mission wheels will fit the MI2 though :P
You never know....minght have square instead of a hex :o lol
