I currently drive a TC3 but I have been offered a Mission at a good price (£40 - it's the S1) which I believe that you can get new for about £90. I was thinking of using it for indoors and getting a carbon version for spares and for outdoors - think they are about £140?

I would say buy 1 as the price is great and the cars are performing exilent in the big events.

Definately worth buying one at the current discounted price! I've bought 2, I'm very happy with them and I am about to get a 3rd one.
Alternatively, if you can wait till Jan when the MI2 is released, I'm sure there will be plenty of 2nd hand Missions on the used market where people are wanting to upgrade ;)

I got my S1 mission last night and will be running it on Saturday. Depending on how that goes I will be putting in an order for a graphite mission... I'll let you know.

The £40 S1 was a secondhand one - the person that had it before me had run it twice!!
:P
You got a good deal then, especialy if it was only run twice :o

It was so good last Saturday that I am now the proud owner of a Carbon kit as well!!
Wait untill you see the new mission in the flesh.....you will soon see why people are selling the old missions lol, they are still very good cars tho.

I have to say the new Mi2 looks nice! I do most of my electric racing indoors and have owned everthing from an XRay to a XXXS to a TC3, all top of the range kits - and the Mission S1 was better than all of them indoors!!
Must be a good car, the only car I have ever owned is a mission carbon so I couldnt say if other cars are worse or better...people say that certain cars are better than others but thats just opinions. The next car I get will be the MI2 ;D

Yes they are worth buying because (as Mark said) they are performing well in the big events. Also they are very reasonably priced for what you get. And for £40 you can't go wrong.
A second hand car could be more of a car for less money, if you know what i mean. Because for £40 you can get the car plus spares etc.

I currently race an SST Sport, I am considering buying a Mission.
Would the upgrade by worthwhile? Or would I not notice much difference between the two cars.
yea definitly worth it, :)

S1 or Carbon?
I race a 27 turn Stock on carpet.
I am not a beginner, but by no means an expert.
if you are not going to be running at a high level would go for the s1 !
