Zapping Quad Magnets

Does anyone know of the effects of zapping the new quad magnet motors ? Is it safe to zap them in the same way you would a regular can, or could this cause ill effects?

I have sucessfully used my BRM made Mag Zapper on Quad mag motors.

Zapping the Reedy or one of it's derivatives will return it to the state it was in when it left the factory. The EPIC however, has the magnets in a different configuration, and i'm not sure that it can be zapped back to it's original state without removing the magnets.

Lee Woodhams works for the EPIC distributers, perhaps he might be able to advise further?
