Hi

Im hoping someone can help with a problem my friend has. The Thunder Tiger Truck my mate has which keeps eating its plastic diff casings is a " Thunder Tiger SSK 1/10 scale, No 6710-F" There is a shaft in the diff that is supported in the plastic diff casing this shaft keeps breaking out and wrecking the cases . He is after an alloy replacement case or details of what else might fit or mods to reinforce it.

Does anyone know a cure

cheers

Dave

I don't think that treating the symptoms by reinforcing things is the answer; there is clearly something awry in the diff that it keeps 'breaking out'. I know some of the 1/10th TT cars (esp DT10) can have a problem eating diff gears unless properly shimmed but actually destroying the diff case is a tad unusual. Can you be a bit more specific about which shaft is causing the problem.
