Just had to put my order in for one. :D
The pre-order blurb wasn't clear whether tyres & shell actually come supplied or not: do they?
How realistic is the delivery date?

require engine, pipe and radio gear.
If the dat you have seen is around the end of November, then that is correct.

Another query Paul:
Any idea if any options (FR/RR/RF transmission plates, springs etc) are coming in the box or just the one setup?
Thanks

So it looks like one setup. Might at least get the plastic alternate blocks incase the ergal ones don't suit a particular track.

as i say.... i am only going by an on line instruction book. I would imagine you get a full set of plastic parts, as you do with the combo, and a set of option parts to set up a standard set up........but will confirm all when i see the sample.....:)

The end of November is almost upon us & pictures of the kit in European shops have surfaced: any news of the UK ones yet?

Mine appeared yesterday; pretty much built apart from radio now.
Great looking kit (those are damn fine shock towers!) & a fairly easy build apart from a niggle with the diffs: with the shims on the output shaft bearings as per the drawing (and how I built my S3) the diff case wouldn't close up easily & when it did, the gear mesh was far too tight - it was a struggle to turn the pinion. Without the shims, it runs just fine. Seems the shims were enough to distort the case in my example.
Didn't like the nut retainers on the shock pistons: I cut them off so I could get a socket on the nut - no pliers/shock shaft scariness required this way. Personally I prefer plain pistons as per S2 for that reason.
Rear toe block wouldn't fit without a little squaring up of the slot: it just didn't quite sit far enough in. Other 2 blocks fitted ok.
Now all I need is for this damn rain to stop for 5 minutes so I can give it a run....
