Trev

As you are obviously "the man" in 27T - what FDR would be a good starting point?

markw
27-09-2006, 04:43 PM
i use 6.26 using a team almighty motor..

cutting_edge
27-09-2006, 09:09 PM
Well Nick i am not the man just had a realy good day my Ratio was 6.75 which is well above Marks in the previous post (Mark being a better driver kepping more corner speed ) but some realy good drivers run as high as 6.9 if you can get your motor to rev high enough , well it all comes down to the motor 6.5 is a good starting point as a rule of thumb go up or down from there depending on your corner speed and your motor rpm HTH Trev

**** i should not have said 6.75 in front of JO **** i ment 7.75 Jo LOL

I am Sure Paul said he would be there for 6.30am but be very quiet when driving past the houses on the lane we don't want to upset the Locals :D

Bring it on Jo 1st in Stock 2 meets ago then FTQ 4th against the Big boys and was leading again at one stage until a back markers car stoped mid bend and BANG i hit him ( ****) could have made it 2 in a row if i had not popped a front link becuase of using a SPOOL ( **** did i say SPOOL i ment ONE WAY )

The gates will open at 7.00am. Please do not drive down the lane until 7.00 and if you arrive early please park quietly on the road.

When driving down the lane please keep noise to a minimum and park where directed. Hopefully the weather will be kind and we should be able to use trackside parking, but as those of you who have been to Ipswich before know, the ground can be soft so keep you engine revs down. If it is too wet then the outer car park will be used with equipment and gazebos allowed to be dropped off with vehicles returned to the hard standing.

Signing in will close at 8.30 and the track will be closed for practice at the same time. Drivers briefing at 8.45 with the first heat at 9.00am.

hi guys, just like to say thanks for today and for the whole season, its been great fun and for my first year of nationals i couldnt have asked for a worse set of results but im still in a good mood (GO FIGURE):
R1 - DNF Remember the motor - 49th
R4 - 39th (out of 40)
R7 - DNF - N/A
R8 - Finally a result - Took a win and 2 seconds in the E Final giving me 41st

But i really dont care, glad to have had a better result at Ipswich, i went to a few BRCA nationals last year but the STCC has given a real lift to national racing.

Thanks again and i hope to do it next year (especially as i got a credit for my win) and well done to ben, ricky and mark.

Jon

p.s sorry again deborah
p.s every have a look at your coastal club shots from the end, look at the back and you'll see a new coastal member.

People to say Thank You To:

Paul F - commentator/ the lady who done it today well done!
Mike Smith - organiser
Barry - points man lol and bits
Ian Alcock - report man

Thanks for you kind words John and Mark. As Mike said at the end of the meeting today, the whole series doesn't just happen and there is alot of hard work that goes into every aspect of the series.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the whole team, Mike, Barry, Tony, Andy, June and Graham for all their help and support this year and over the four years or so that I have been involved. By the way, the "other lady" on the microphone today is Linda who took to it like a real professional....watch out Vicky B-H!!!!!

It is amazing how the series has evolved from that first meeting at Ipswich and I will watch with interest.

Finally a big thank you and well done to all to the drivers and Champions, who as Barry said, make the whole championship work.

Paul F.

Mark Fuller

Well if thats the only way to get in the winning team:D

Seriously though a big thanks to everyone who has raced over the years, and to Southend this year who pushed us all the way in the club championship, it may your turn again in 2007.

I am sure in 2007 the STCC will improve again and keep forging ahead, continuing to be the trendsetters that other series follow.

Of course we will be there next year, and we dont have as big of team as you!! :)

We were only 84 points behind and at 2 of the rounds we only scored 100 points so I am sure we will do better next year.
