Baja Champ Motor upgrade

Hi

Can anyone recommend a more powerful motor for the baja champ. I have a Vega esc with a 18 turn limit. I wondered if the tamiya 540 race tuned 23 turn motor was any good. Also how much will it affect the run time as I don't want to sacrifice this too much. I use Orion 2400 nicads.

Grab a 19 turn of any make. That will drain your batteries quick enough. Or find a tamiya stock motor like the type R version. They are 21 and 23 turns I think. A little longer run time but cost is more than normal motors. Just get a hot stock motor like a p2k2 or something along that line. ;D TAMIYA RULES! If you want more tamiya info just pm me ok.

stop hating the skillz loser. there is a tamiya club that has all the info you can shake a stick at and I am part of it. those chaps know way too much about tamiya and they will be able to point you in the right direction. as pertaining to damo's comment, don't sing it, bring it! :-*

i'm gonna if you can get that motor for under 30 quid it is a very good buy. Now now damo, don't get me started on name calling. You might get your feelings hurt.

I have recently got a baja champ too..so far it has been upgraded with an esc, kyosho oil filled shocks, descent servo, ballraces and the Reedy 19T Quad-Mag motor....

it is VERY VERY fast....i cant believe how much difference a quad-mag motor makes....

if i was you get ballraces and decsent electronics and get the reedy.....other hopups to come are...
