Hi Guy's and Girls,
As I'm off for a few days I have striped and rebuild the car, I usually do this every month or so just to keep things in cheque, One thing I noticed this time that the Diff out-drive barrings have allot of rock when the diff cover is on. The play its about 1mm ether side, at first I thought it was ether the diff cover not done up tight enough of the barrings are worn but on closer inspection it was the hole baring moving. The problem was easily solved by cutting a narrow strip of paper and putting a piece on each semicircle on the diff cover and hay presto problem solved.
This in on the xxxsg+ tourer and I was wondering if anyone else had noticed this problem, ether on the TC or the Graphite off road, and before you ask tightening the belt tensioner doesn't solve the problem, I cant see it being a problem with the handling/driving of the car it more of an observation, and makes for a smoother drive train.
