Hi!
Been race a axis for about 3 years now and think it time for a upgrade and seeing asthe mission carbons are cheap, i may as well get one! (but i can't fault my Axis)(They are even cheaper now!!! on Schumachers web page £127.99)
was just after some advise off peeps who have been driving the car, want to know what mods and speed options are worth buying????
cheers for your help
As recommended by the top dogs in team Schuey...
- RW pullies
- Front one way
- Both grey belts
- Kwick Klips
- Roll Centre Mod
- Spring tuning kit
- alloy layshaft mount
if you dont run mod then leave the grey belts out.
You may want to consider Fusion bulk heads too...

I think the £127.99 is exc VAT, but may be wrong

Yup, the Carbon is £154.69 including VAT.
The mod is something you do yourself, but im dont run a mission (still on the Axis) so you would be best to ask Mark Burgess or someone

hi im tony
i race the mission si and most of the people who race missions at my club dont bother with the carbon.
the best upgrades i would say are alloy hubs, steel driveshafts and alloy suspension mounts, the mission is a very competitive car and i really like racing it. it will handal very different from the axis
I also prefer the RW spurs, just dont likem the schumy kit ones, you'll need the adapter but you may well have one if you have an axis.
If your doin super stock, i think its just the grey front belt which is recommemded.
There is some other threads on this subject, so they will probably be worth a look too.

I've published a "my top five Mission upgrades" in another thread, and see also the Schumacher part number thread. We could restart those here, but seeing as we've already covered them...
Roll Centre Mod is a Schumacher Part number, U2575. We also use 1mm spacers sometimes instead of the full 2mm+ spacer in that kit - simple way is using washers, the fiddly way is to make a spacer using a scrap of lexan.
The great things about the Mission is there are lots of set up sheets from team drivers for the regular outdoor tracks!
Cheers
