has anyone thought of having an outdoor meeting possibly on a week night, if we could find a place maybe this could become weekly?

obviously this would be weather permititing but this time of year would be great.

A long long long time ago we used to race outside in the summer months. It was on a small tarmaced area at the back of a school in milton. When we did that i know we had lower attendance at meeting.

Running outside on an unprepared surface (i.e. a car park) just doesnt appeal. Now if only we could race weekly indoors...

If people are interested and racing at Milton weekly is not an option, we could always try to get the club in over running again. I'd be up for that, but there'd need to be enough people interested to make it worth it. It stopped before because there were only 5 or 6 of us turning up to some meetings :( . Would be ideal for 12th scale too.

I didn't know you lived that close! Tom and his brother used to run Over as a seperate club. I've pm'ed you with a link to the website for the club (I havent updated it for a bit, but you can see from the gallery what the club is like). The track carpet and markings are still at Over community centre...
