Ok I'll anwser that assuming the moderators will move the post to the corally section...
Parts to get : mainly spur gears (beware they're specific to the car) as even the official drivers breaks them, get also some king pins they like to say bye bye (some drivers use the tamiya front steering blocks to prevent this).
Concerning the MID, I think you make a confusion. The original kit has the motor on the rear. This allows to use the direct drive as well as he 2 belt drive. They also have released the MID conversion kit, which puts the motor forward and thus only the 2 belt drive can be used with it.
Hope it's clear.

Brad, the car comes in 2 versions of kit:
Kit 1:
Multi transmission options, with rear mounted motor with the all transmission parts to assemble it with direct rear drive, or dual belts.
Kit 2:
Mid-motor kit (this is brand new) which is the kit with the mid motor location and only a dual belt transmission.
Mid Conversion Kit:
The mid-motor layout is also available as a conversion kit for the multi transmission car (Kit 1 above)..
Well everyone has answered all the question bar what they go like. And that is like poo of the proverbial stick!!!! ;D :o
Put it this way I recently had a direct comparison with a friend with a 19t motor. I know this is not exact science but it fairly close!!
His setup X-ray hybrid (T1-R raycer with carbon bits) Matrix 19t Keyence zero v extreme, Corrally team matched 3300's gp
Mine Assassin with direct drive Matrix 19t Keyence zero v extreme, Corrally team matched 3300's gp
A lot of people commented on quick the assassin was 8) (so quick I managed to break it) but I'm sure in the hands of someone more talented who could use that to their adavntage it would be very effective.
That also leads neatly into what spares are like to get hold of ::) :P The anwser simple. I've not had any problems at all getting hold of spares.

Ade,
Valid points. However, I'd like to point out that if the car was more durable in your hands ;D ;D, then the need for spares would diminsh, allowing you to spend more money on your Scooby Doo... ;D ;D
Of course, you could buy an X-ray as they just seem indestructable! Even Kyle hasn't broke it in 6 months of racing!
Dave
For your information the car is very durable in my hands!!!
It's just when I put it on the track and drive it it all goes a bit wrong :P
