Hi Everybody,
I'm seriously thinking about returning to RC Racing after a long time away from it.
In the late 80's and early 90's I raced 1/10 elec off road then graduated to 1/8th IC Circuit. I did most of my racing at YRCMCRC at Halifax (Back when they were at the North Bridge Car Park site!).
I now live in Weston Super Mare and know where the Mendip circuit is.
In the from May to September I'm fairly commited to full scale Motor Sport, I'm an Incident Marshal at Circuits and Speed Hillclimbs.
But I would like to find something to fill the quiet winter months. I note that there are a few meetings going on still in the off season so 1/10th IC Circuit would seem to be an ideal balance of cost versus fun.
My main query is simply this. I don't want to go overboard as funds are tight. But I would like a half decent chassis where I could mix it with the local clubbies down @ Mendip. Any suggestions about Chassis/Engine/Radio/Body combinations that would fit the bill?
