MR-4 BC standard or special

Hi there,
I want an MR-4 but dont know which one I should get.Im going to be racing it indoors on a slippery surface and a few people at the club have standard ones.BC rog says' it will work out cheaper to get the special in the long run' any thoughts on this?

If you intend to end up with a car with the spec of the Special, then just buy a Special!
It will work out at least £100 cheaper!
