I am trying to fill my shocks on my TC3 racer kit but I can't get them consistent. Some seem ok but squeek so must have air in them and others don't push the shaft out much. I've read the thread in the Losi section but wondered if anyone can give any advice specific to TC3?

I've filled them with oil moved the shaft up and down a few times which creates lots of bubbles, then left it for 10 mins for bubbles to dissappear, half filled cap and tried it with shaft at top and bottom but still having problems :(

i also have trouble filling my shocks. what i find gives me best results is filling the shock body up to the top removing all the bubbles, so its prob best to leave it for more than 10 mins then filling the shock cap up to just below where the threads start on the inside of the cap, then screw it on and see how it goes.
personally i fink associated should use bleed screws like other manufacturers to make things much easier

Yokomo shock caps fit on Associated shocks so if you feel you need bleed screws you can have them. Cost over £10 each though! :o

WHAT??!!! Are we talking about alloy 1s?
Plastic 1s are about 4.99 a set.
Or you could drill a small hole in each of the topcaps and put a small screw in it.
