Cool. So i guesss the 1/12 scale is a permenant arrangement at the club now!

Yeah thats right matt is getting his switchblade ready to race. He wont be joining us this meeting but should be there for all the others. I just got a body painted up pretty nice too, lets see if i can ruin it on sunday.

Surely you're not intending to let me take a spin? :D . Stumbled across an awesome possible venue for racing less than a mile from Milton the other day John. I'll explain Sunday. :)

See you all then

Yep, the switchblade is in the middle of a good rebuild right now to get it like new. Im on holiday next week (is it so wrong that i'd rather be using the car instead?! lol) but will be racing 1/12 pretty regular after that!

Some work to construct Mark's house has over run and we can't get the trailer with the hose out of the garden. If someone has a van or another trailer, we can unload from the stranded trailer and mark out the track. If anyone can help with suitable transport, please shout now. If not, we will have to cancel Sunday's race. Watch this space...

Hi John,
don't know anybody with a trailer or van but could we used the track markings from the over club or if cancel maybe a trip to lowestoft instead

tomlau

Damn that dont sound good.

Perhaps as a last ditch attempt 3-4 people could volounteer to go down in their cars and take the track markings down, split between them??

ralph

I think toms idea might just about work. How far is Marks house from the hall?

John_Parker
02-09-2006, 03:22 PM
Sorry all, but we have to cancel tomorrow. Next race 2 weeks - September 17. Pass the word around to those you know,

Sunday 17th is the last race of the year. 2007 dates are now posted on web site

We will run a Championship for club members in the new year, the committee is working out details.

We have fixed the club subs for 2007, so if you want to pay on Sunday, happy to take your money! BRCA subs remain at £12 and club subs will be £13, making £25 payable per member. The cost is higher than last year, we will use the extra to get some good trophies for the winter series.

John_Parker
25-02-2007, 07:30 PM
We've got Sunday May 27th booked at Milton, but Monday May 28th is Spring Bank Holiday. We can have the hall, but if lots of people are not going to be there, it would be better to shift this date. So, if anyone knows they cannot make Sunday 27th May, can you let me or another committee member know

ralph

There's another meeting at Over this sunday and then again on the 25th March. Anybody's welcome to come. We'll be running 12th scale and touring cars as usual, doors open from 9am.

Also, I currently have Over booked for April 8th - Easter sunday. If anyone can't make it, can you let me know and if we're going to be very low on numbers I'll change the date of the meeting.

C ya sunday,

Ralph

Looking at my schedule, I can't make it on April 8th because of family commitments. Also, could we have the results up from the last race at Over please?

Thanks,
Alexander

ralph

Ok, I may change the April 8th meeting then. Results from the last Over race are on the milton laptop. Not sure when John will be able to put them up...

Remember Over again this weekend everyone. Would be nice to see a decent turnout. Was good last time and I cant wait to get my 12th back on the track! We will always be running a touring car heat and a 12th scale heat.

See ya there,

Ralph

Tomorrow (April 1st) we are pitting along the back wall of the hall. Those requiring 240v should bring an extension lead, as there are power outlets only at both ends of the wall

Please note: Over this weekend is CANCELLED due to it being Easter Sunday  . Next meeting is Sunday 15th April at Milton. No further Over meetings are booked, but I'm planning to organise some more for the next few months so watch this space.

Hi,

I've asked about booking the hall at Over for Sunday 27th, but unfortunately it's already booked. Next race meeting will be the one at milton on June 3rd. If we want more over meetings booked I can probably book some dates between milton meetings (and chesterfield).

C ya,

Ralph

John_Parker

Ralph has booked a new date - July 15th at Over for Touring and 1/12th.

Next race is next Sunday, 1st July at Milton for Touring

Ralph,
What time does the doors open tomorrow at Over?
I will not be able to turn up until 0930 ish.

Stelios

ralph
14-07-2007, 04:58 PM
It's usually open when we turn up at about 9. If you can't make it till a bit later that's no problem as I think we usually intend to start the heats at 10:30.

See you there :)

Ralph

We have a race booked at Milton on July 29th. I won't be there and I know a few others can't make it. We want to be sure there are going to be enough showing up to make it worth holding the race meeting, so if you are sure you will be there on the 29th can you reply here or pm or email me.

Stelios Bishop

I be there John. Unless meeting cancelled

My parents are away, so I doubt me and Tom will be able to get a lift there or back, so assume neither of us can make it.

Leopard,
I believe there is still a meeting on this sunday, as i will be there.

John_Parker
25-07-2007, 06:57 PM
As it stands we have 8 racers for Sunday, which is 2 short of a reasonable number for racing, organising and contributing to the cost. So, if we can't find 2 more tonight, I'll cancel the meeting in the morning and post back on here & web site.

fido-dido

michael and laton will be there.

if still on that is?

John_Parker

Race meeting Sunday 29th cancelled

Sorry all, but we had to make a call and even with Michael and Leyton we would have only been at 9 racers.

So, next meeting is September 2nd. Go get those cars cleaned and tuned for then!

fido-dido
26-07-2007, 02:04 PM

ralph
08-10-2007, 07:01 PM
Just a reminder for those that missed the previous meeting. Next meeting is this Sunday (14th) at Over, running 12th and touring.

The Over website can now be accessed at www.overrc.tk

See you all there, :)
