I'm racing at my local club and i need to find a good setup for polished wood using yellow minipins. It is a fairly short twisty track using stock motors. I'm using the kit setup just now but i need that extra edge. Its mostly camber and toe-in that i need help with most.
Thanks
James ;D

Hi James,
Welcome to the forum! :D
Ok....can't really help you with setup as I have never run on polished floor. However I will give you a little advice.....
Toe-In, Camber, etc..... purely adjusts the car's grip, handling, etc... in certain ways. There is no "best way" to set up the car so it's hard for people to just give you settings.
I find that the manual setup is a great basis for most conditions, I then tune that to suit my driving at the particular track. Best thing I can advise is to buy something like the XXXMain setup book or download the free setup guide from the Associated website. These will explain what each of the settings do, their effect on the car and such like and will then make you be able to make the adjustments you need to get faster.
The other option would be to get some setup advise from people at your club who already run a TC3, have a look through the top heat to see who runs one fast and ask to have a look at their car.
Hope that helps a bit :)
Cheers

The stock polished floor setup I used to win a few club championships.... 8)
Front
Silver springs, No2 pistons and 50w oil, 2 droop limiters in shocks (as kit)
Middle hole on (standard front) shock tower, inner hole on V2 wishbones
Camber link - shortest and lowest (most camber change)
2deg kickup, 4deg caster blocks, 1deg camber, zero toe-in (parallel), standard ackerman
Rear
Green springs, No2 pistons and 40w oil, 4 droop limiters in shocks (as kit)
Inner hole on shock tower, outer hole on V2 wishbones
Camber link - as kit
2deg antisquat, 2 deg toe-in, 1deg camber, long wheelbase
Cells to the front
Paradox 27x1 stock on 27/72
Hope that helps ;D
