Hi,
Can any one please give me a setup or any advice on running a TC3 indoors using Schumacher Carpet Dragons. We sometimes run on very slippery surface carpet. Any advice / tips appreciated.
Thanks,
Ben.

Start off with the standard kit settings, but fit the top of the shocks to the outside holes (i.e. as upright as possible). I run 80wt oil in all 4 shocks indoors.
You may find it usefull to run roll bars - I used to run them front and rear, but don't now.
Check ride height carefully - you need to be around 5.5mm all round, or possibly 6mm rear and 5mm front.
Try running with 1 degree toe out on the front and 2 degrees camber all round.

Do you have to use Carpet Dragons?
What sort of carpet do you use?
You might be better off running T27's if your club allows

Hi, sorry I posted this thread for Ben as his internet is unavailable, I'm passing on any info...
No, he can only run Dragons - the carpet we use at club is very low traction. Even buggies on Mini-pins can feel very loose.

i wud suggest:
front:-
gold springs
40 wt oil
outer hole on shock tower
outer hole on wishbones
1.5 degrees camber
2 degrees castor
2 degrees kickup
parallel no toe in or out
Rear:
silver springs
30wt oil
inner hole on shock tower
outer hole on wishbone
2 degrees camber
2 degrees toe in
2 degrees antisquat
ride height 5.5mm
batteries to front
This seems to be a very good setup for 19t. U didnt metion wat motor u would be running?
I asumed you wouldnt have a rear shock tower on the front. if you do or have one to put on use the middle hole.
Cheers Phil C.

Shell shouldnt make too much difference indoors but i would suggest either a protoform vectra or an alfa. That setup should be good with 27t.

its OK, but what shell are you using, i found even eith a good setup that some shells are just terrable indoors. I use a HPI Dodge Stratus and find it to be super :D
